Since its establishment in 2009, KOSAF has been
striving to help people to pursue their dreams. Its programs provide financial
assistance primarily though grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study
programs. Going and beyond financial support, KOSAF’s talent development
programs give students a platform for developing leadership that effectively
helps people.
ESTABLISHMENT
The Korea Student Aid Foundation was established by
Korean law in the Act on the Establishment of the Korea Scholarship

with sufficient qualifications and abilities for higher education to study
without regard to their economic circumstances” (Act on the Establishment of the
Korea Scholarship Foundation, Act No. 9617 of April 1, 2009, Article
