About the Foundation
Expanding the opportunities for higher education and supporting national talents, KOSAF manages national government-supported programs that help students take important steps to reach for their future aspirations. The foundation works in close association with the Ministry of Education.

- Seeking to provide the best in support for talent development through student aid services and programs, KOSAF is strongly committed to keeping the direction of all its efforts focused on serving students. The core values, guiding principles, and strategies of the foundation—all of which reflect this commitment—are connected by an adherence to servant leadership and stewardship.
- Overview
- Since its establishment in 2009, KOSAF has been striving to helppeople to pursue their dreams. Its programs provide financial assistance primarily through scholarships, loans, and work-study. Going above and beyond financial support, KOSAF’s Sharing & Volunteering programs give students a platform for developing leadership that effectively helps people.
- Governance
- The Executive Board, advised by several committees, oversees the activities of the foundation. KOSAF is organized into sections by primary areas of responsibility within the foundation. The foundation’s administration and management follow the guidelines in applicable laws, including the act and the enforcement decree by which the foundation was established.
- Organization
- KOSAF is organized into bureaus and departments by primary areas of responsibility. The Chairman oversees all of the affairs of the foundation and its employees. In addition, the the executive directors and the managing director supervise a set of departments under each Bureau. Audit is managed separately by the Auditor.
