Greetings

We offer student loans so that many students could receive financial aid for a longer time.

We will do our best to nurture the future leaders of Korea Hello and welcome all, I am Kyungsook Lee, chairperson of the Korea Student Aid Foundation. KOSAF is a student loan institute established back in May to support the Korean government’s policy to nurture the country’s future leaders by providing all Koreans who have the will and capability to learn but who have financial difficulties with financial support for higher education. KOSAF is dedicated to creating an environment where the Korean students can pursue their dreams without any worry. In particular, we are focusing our efforts on helping the young Koreans develop into healthy and proud members of the society who will contribute significantly to the development of their country.

Everyone at KOSAF is doing his or her best to properly disburse the government budget for student scholarships and to raise additional funds so that there would be no educational divide in Korea. KOSAF will also reinforce its role as an academic counselor and mentor by providing students and their parents with information regarding college admissions, college life, careers, and job search. Not only that, but KOSAF will issue bonds to lessen the financial burdens on the students who we support through the student loans so as to ultimately induce a reduction in the student loan interest rate while securing various sources for financial resources through private sector and corporation to stabilize our financial resources for scholarship. Furthermore, KOSAF will establish the consumer-directed one-stop national scholarship support system so that students can conveniently use information not only on tuition fees and scholarships across the respective colleges and universities nationwide but also of the respective government bureaus and private scholarship foundations. KOSAF aims at becoming more than just a scholarship foundation and at playing the role of an educational support provider for the Korean students, helping them develop their leadership skills, sprit of service, and virtues, which are required by our country and society. KOSAF will be a reliable friend of the Korean students, helping them realize their dreams.
